I'm pretty sure I asked this question here a long while ago...

...but what program(s) do you all use - if any - to manage and track your comic collections? I'm looking to finally organize and document my 40+ long boxes and would like to move into the 1990s with how I log this stuff (an old notebook ain't cutting it anymore).

Thanks!

I use .... nothing
I just cut back on what I have so I don;t have any problem remembering :D

Some online systems are okay ...
like comicbookpriceguide.com

That's funny, Mike, I've been keeping track of my boxes via notebook as well. I eventually transfered the notebook into a basic Notepad format listing titles and issue numbers. Ever since, I've been looking for some good software that will let me maintain the collection exclusively on my computer and allow for easy updates. This thread seems to pop up twice a year!

Thanks, Jamal - that method... uh, wait. Nevermind.

Nightcrawlah: Yeah, the problem is onto like my third notebook and it's a pain in the butt. I've seen a couple OKAY ones, but they want like $25 (or more) and I don't want to pay for something that has features I'll never use (like auction features and all of the buying and selling aspects). So, so far I'm striking out.
If I knew M'Soft Access or something I could make my own, and while spreadsheets are a viable alternative they aren't as pretty or "fun" to work with.

I have used www.comicspriceguide.com for a couple years now and love the service and upkeep to the site. It is very affordable and efficient when adding or just plain looking up books.

I use The Collector's Catalogue by Cosmi Europe. www.cosmi.com Good for all sorts of collection databasing.

I found some sifty software at... collectorz.com I think. It's nice software, very easy to use and what not. But the reporting sucks. In fact, there isn't really any reporting at all!
I'll check out this 'Cosmi' and see how it is.

It's actually Mastersafe Software... I didn't find a link to download and try, so... back to the search.
