Been working 60-70 hours a week for the past year or so, haven't had much time to color as such. I still do for fun sometimes. This wasn't exactly a quicky since it took a few months, but that was all five minutes at a time for the most part, between other things. It's rough, but I wanted to share anyway.

No one? Fine, noogies for you all. I know it's rough, you could at least poop on it! :D

:har: :har: :har: :har: Very good work. . . Congratulations. . . I would only reduce a little the tonal value of the colors. . . Since the scenery is very dark.

i dont find theres enough shade contrast on your piece, i'm thinking you could darken some areas on it

Im like it, don't need to poop on it. :) I like the way the pencils can still be seen, and you've managed to get a pastel type of texture.
Very cool, want to see more!

Thanks guys.
I agree with the tonal point, if I hadn't half assed it I would have done a filtered and brushed over photograph of a creepy forest or city scene and then distorted/smudged it to look all nightmarish and washy. I think if I'd done that it wouldn't look so bright compared to the background.
Shade contrast is definately an issue, but I didn't want to go too dark and lose the pencils in the darkest areas. I'm not confident enough with a painted style to lose the pencils altogether, so I wanted to keep them but keep them light enough to blend the colors in with.
Thanks for noticing the textures Bob, I like to play with brushes on these kind of pictures. I was hoping someone the texture, especially the 'age spots' kind of mottled tone on his arm. I played with a few styles for his skin and decided to go for a live-action TMNT kinda look hehehe.
