Mine was Marvel vs Capcom 2, Power Stones 1 & 2, TechRomancer, JetSet Radio & that sea bass fishing game. Never thought I'd like a fishing game but those damn trout kept screwing with me! Must have played that demo till it got scratched!

Oh yeah!
Dreamcast was my all time favorite!
Soul Caliber. Hands down.
I could play it for HOURS.
I like the sequels okay, but nothing could every compare to the lazy afternoons I spent unlocking every character, and beating my friends and family.

Skies of Arcadia, without a doubt.
Resident Evil: Code Veronica, still my favorite RE.

Bummer Sega announced the end of the GD-rom. They have stopped producing the DC cd. Funny thing is, the system is still seeing game release in certain countries, and in limited releases.

Hey, it's great to see some fellow Dreamcast dudes here! For me, Tony Hawk Pro Skater 2 for the Dreamcast was the absolute best. I've played it on various consoles, and the DC version is GoAT! One of my Top 5 of All Time, hands down. I also loved playing Shenmue, a beautiful mix of RPG and action/fighting. Hell, RE4's quick button "reactions" are directly taken from Shenmue's QTE sequences! Marvel v. Capcom 2 was the ultimate time killer! I've got about a good 15-20 games stashed away with the DC, I may have to dust the ol' baby off and give it a whirl later.

The fight with the Tyrant in the cargo jet sealed the deal. I never saw it coming and was so unprepared. I only had one green herb, my knife, my pistol, and three flame gernade shells. I'm surprised I was able to beat him.
Man, I miss that game. I should play it again.

Shenmue, Crazy Taxi, Soul Calibur, DOA2, Quake III Arena...and so many others...

Shenmue 2 Even though it has a terrible ending. Not just with there not being a Shenmue 3, just that Sword thing is really out of place.
Power Stone 2: 4 Controllers beatdown, to see who is the best.
Zombies Revenge: Just out and out horror fun.
Fire Pro Wrestling D: None of the American Wrestling games can touch this. More than 200 wrestlers from around the world, fluid moves and real collision detection.
Crazy Taxi 2: This game is just stupid fun.
Die Hard Arcade: Take Dynamite Deka, throw in Die Hard for fun mix and proceed to kick ass.

Dreamcast was the stuff, I still play with it haha.
My fav games were:
1. Marvel Vs. Capcom 2
2. NBA2K1
3. Shenmue 2
4. Dead or Alive 2
5. Sonic Adventure
I really like Street Fighter Alpha 2 too! I wish I still had that game.

Marvin, I'll have to try and find Zombies Revenge, never heard of it before. You're absolutely right about Fire Pro Wrstling D, that was one hell of a game with a (still!) unrivaled roster and fight system. I just hated not being able to follow through with the Japanese language  .
Games are still being released for the console overseas, although in very limited quantities. Dreamcast was the KING of fighting games, that's for damn sure.

Man, I miss my Dreamcast
I loved all the games mentioned previously, plus the 2K Sports series (NBA and NFL), Ready 2 Rumble, Capcom vs SNK and I even enjoyed Spawn: In The Demon's Hand.

Yeah, the 2K series that practically forced the Madden games to get their weight up! It's a damn shame the NFL license went exclusive, since the 2K games were arguably better.

You know it's a memorable battle when you can recall your exact inventory. I can remember what I had on me during a couple of boss fights in the original MGS.
My DC choice: P-P-P-Power Stone!!!!!!! Why did that franchise die? Bring it back!

Jet set was the first one's original name on DC before they changed it. They used Jets set for Xbox. Xbox has the original name for it.
Remember the DJ kept saying JET SET RADIO! in the first one? That's why. ;)
But wasn't sea man ( man that name!) really cool? Gotta find me a copy.
Oh, and just for the record, I've still got my original DREAMCAST and it works just as well as when I first purchased it. ;)

and the batteries went years ago lol. but it used to come on just by plugging it into the controller, no luck there anymore though.

The battery was primarily necessary for playing the mini-games on the portable memory cards. When plugging it into the controller, the cards should still power on and maintain its saved games. Sounds like you have some screwy memory cards. I've sold off all but two of my memory cards, sorry!
My DC has been working wonderfully for years. However, I think there may be a problem with the contact for the first controller, where it sometimes has trouble recognizing controller actions from time to time. I'm hoping it's something I can easily rectify by cleaning the contact, since I really don't want to shell out some extra bucks for another console.

Dreamcast had some pretty incredible games, very underated system. The Shenmue games are just incredible and still revolutionary to this day.
Fav DC games:
-Shenmue 1,2
-Soul Calibur
-DOA2
-Sonic
-Virtua Tennis 2
-Crazy Taxi 2
I got an urge to play my DC again now, lol. Lots of fun to have on that system.
