supergirl coloring in progress

IM going to be coloring super girl and i want to get some crits on the way of completion.

I just started posting images i could of made more if I knew id put them on here.
Its been awhile since ive colored anything ive been doing flats for alot of colorist .
just been very busy.

well it looks pretty flat still obviously. Shading may look better if you had a light source on the edge of her clothes and skin, like a light source from the sky, she looks to be flying right? or maybe shes just some nutter running through the pigeons in the park? anyways she'll pop out way more if ad those highlights.

In my vision voce could change the color of circulates it of the deep one.
To call one better attention to the personage.
In the layer of the personage the shade this very strong.
The color of the skin this very strong.
It alleviates airbrush.

I'm not really feeling the colors used for the shadows. It looks as if you are just using a burn or multiply. I prefer to use color rather than coloring modes for shadows can highlights.

For instance with the base red of her cape it would be something like C0 M100 Y100 and then I'd use C25 M100 Y100 for shadows and maybe C35 M100 Y100 for darker shadows. For highlight maybe C0 M75 Y75 or something like that.

Yeah, not digging the color choice for the shadows, it does look a bit like a burn. The shadowed areas are very airbrushed also, some sharper edges would make it jump out more.
