I posted this splash from a 22 page story of mine way back in April of last year in pencil form. Unlike my "KimPossible" pin up, it's way too old to grave dig back to page1 even if the ink job is brand new, so a new posting was clearly in order.(yes...I'm in a bit of an inking mode lately) C&C welcome as always... :)

btw this is page 4 but the full story is still readable in the writer's forum for anyone interested in the disastrous events that follow this shot. :(

Nice clean inking to go with a nice clean style. Can't see any obvious areas to crit.

I like it very much! I would just give the tires a little rotation movement, but apart from that, real nice! ;)

Thanks for posting sevans. This is one of the few things I've completed in the last 3 years that actually looks noticably improved to me after inking.

Thanks Barnaby. I actually thought about adding a motion blur effect in photoshop but chickened out. Maybe I'll play around with that later. :)

Reminds me of an odd mix of Victor Moscoso, Max Fleisher, and old original Astro Boy cartoons...Nice!

^Interesting observation Fejj. In all the responses I've received here, I almost never hear other artists names mentioned. I do love Fleischer's Popeye so maybe there's some subconscious influence. hmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Liked it the first time....and still like it, Mark. About time you started posting stuff again.
