Character design for a fanfiction sort of deal in the X-Universe. Character was originally developed 17 years ago, this illustration was done 15 years later. Feedback appreciated.

Interesting concept. Makes me think of what would happen if Wolverine, Omega Red, and Colossus were DNA donors in a genetics project. With the Cold War over, I think you might be ahead in losing the hammer & sickle.

Then again, this guy could have been hiding out in Siberia for a LONG time and not know the Cold War is over. There was that one Japanese soldier who'd been in hiding for nearly half a century after WWII was over...

very interesting interpretation Twyla and you're right about meshing of characters to an extent (full powers aren't displayed here) though he is actually a result of Wolvie and Psylocke mixed with a bunch of cybernetics (could very well say Forge is part of the mix then too). yeah, i was 12 when he was first created LOL

and if i read this right, that is not a hammer and sickle though i can see how it would look like one. it's actually an "X" and a "U" (this was the team leader for a black ops x-men team)

Cool design. I know you did it years ago, but now it seems really close to Ultimate Cable.

the character itself was created 17 years ago, this particular variation was just from 2 years ago though (actually a year and 3 months). I never checked out Ultimate Cable (going to have to now) but 2 years ago was during the anti-spandex rise where outfits were more like the protective padded extreme sports gear so that may be the reason for the resemblence. thanks for pointing that out though, may need to do another revision if its too similiar :)
