First is just a couple of pics I was asked to color for a community collab for a Christmas art gift for a guy over on DA. The guy is always buying subscriptions for people and hyping up different artists, and he has a thing for dwarves. So a buncha people decided to a big ole collab of a buncha dwarves and "Snow White" for him as a gift. Thought it was a nice gesture, so I volunteered to help out.

Didn't mess with backgrounds or secondary light sources since the pics were just gonna be cut out and slapped together with a bunch of others.

lineart: Will Calligan (trialsze) and Ben Glendenning (skulljammer)

After finishing some pages, I wanted to practice a little more with blending modes in layers, so I colored up this Psylocke pic fast (probably around 30 min total). Lotsa mistakes in it since it's just a rush job (the hair is crap), but I taught myself a few new tricks which is all I was wanting. And yeah, it probably woulda looked better done in a cel style with tons of color holds, but I didn't wanna do it!

Pencils: Will Calligan (trialsze)
Inks: Gary Wilson (I think that's his last name...gz12wk over on DA)

Already this everything in my computer. . .   I think a neutral color in the bottom would value more the image.

Hey Garry! Long time no see!

They all look fantastic as usual man, you've got the touch! :)

The first is my favorite of the three, but that's just because I think the dwarf looks the coolest.

Drop me a line sometime!

You prob'ly could've done more with Psylocke's kinetic knifey thing, and the spectrum is generally a touch too smothered by the sepia, IMO, but it takes chops to manage rendering that nice in only a half-hour!
