I'm working on developing a style that comic book fans will like, and that I will like so feel free to post any comments.
This image was done entirely in photoshop on a cintiq tablet.

i like it alot...nice style...on piece of advice don't worry about comicbook fans liking it, if you have a style you like to draw in then just go for it..people will like it or dislike it...you can't make everyone happy..

I love the style! I don't think you need to concern yourself with that so much. To me, you could refine your work by making good compositions and filling in the details. For example, it would have been better to show the actual blade in her hand, gored up. Also, the white floor and pastel sky (or walls) don't make much sense in this picture.
Hmmm... also, her expression is fairly blank. Maybe a shout or a pout as she slashes at him would be more interesting?

Very cool. I like the colors alot. Have to agree with deanlegion about her face, though. She almost looks a little confused  ;)

I completely agree with Hellblazer72. Plus, if it's not a style that you personally enjoy, how are you going to finish a comic? I wouldn't be able to finish a few pages if it didn't interest me.
