Superman pic re-draw

Hey people, in case anyone is paying attention I did not die or give it all up for a bucket of shiny bells, I just got busy with school. So here be my latest sketchy attempt at getting Supes down the way I like him, I tried to make him kind of alien looking here :)

edit: Here's something I worked on tonight, fixed some things and came up with a much better face and anatomy I think:

..he looks like he drank 2 much coffeeeee.........something about those eyes freak me out.very alien so that's cool but it doesn't scream superman..flip the s add some wrinkles and maybe he'd be a good bizarro..just a thought:)

thats an interesting Idea, maybe I'll do a Bizzarro version :)

His eyes are way too big. Looks like crack eyes. Try making them all around smaller.

The arm muscles seem way too seperated. trying breaking the lines that define the muscles. We shouldn't be able to see them all seperatly. We should see a whole arm.

It almost looks like he has a unibrow too.

The darkness under his eyes and the super strong cheekbones make him look insane. Superman should be very clean cut and handsome looking. It doesn't work when he looks bugged out and psychotic.

Added to what lil green man is saying, I'd also suggest you lower the elbow a bit to our right. It looks like his arm is bending on the middle muscle.

lilgreenman and anticrest - I'll work on the anatomy but the "crack eyes" and weird facial structure was part of the alienish look I was going for, this was not meant to be your average clean-cut and handsome Superman. thx for the looks and the advice!

Maybe your goal to make him look more alien would translate better in color. right now he just has weird eyes.
