Hello there! I haven't posted here in quite sometime. Well I had a 3 day weekend so i decided to have fun and do some art for myself instead of doing commissions.. Here is my favorite characters from the Joes. Actually going to use this in a submission pack.
Thanks for the look and Happy New Year!
click the pics to enlarge them. I didnt want to go over the 500 pixels wide rule :

I have to be honest here: Why make up the (rather ridiculously proportioned) fantasy gun? I think this pic would be much better just by using real gun reference.

Because its part of a scifi story i am doing. Star Brigade. Its going to have more experimental weapons that Joes are testing out.
Grenade launcher\Electric multi Purpose. With remote electronic trigger. Made of very lite components and alloys/plastics
Plus i like big ass guns. Too many video games and 90s comic books under my belt.
Thanks for your honesty. :)

The tangent you've got going with their legs from the knees down is a problem. Even after adding colors the lower legs blend into each other. For a pin up, Scarlet really needs to represent with a more dynamic pose. I like big ass fantasy guns too, but this one's a bit on the boxy side, making it look more dust buster than BFG. On the plus side...you have a nice polished looking background and I like the color.

Great job! I always enjoy pinups like this that tell a story too. I really like the colored version; you've got some really cool visual effects going on. I think the one thing that could help sell this picture more as a whole would be to make the characters appear wet with some stark highlights. Really nice work; keep it up! :bounce:
