Who have you found on Comicspace.com?

I have added Dwayne McDuffie, Erik Larsen, Aspen comics, Chris Eliopoulos, Fresco, to name a few.

I've got almost the entire creative team for Green Lantern on board with Team Mike. Since I'm his friend, I just know it's only a matter of time before Geoff Johns (he lets me call him that) employs me as co-plotter.

There's tons of pros there. Hell, given time, everyone's gonna be there.

It's gonna get so impersonal soon.

I've got Liam Sharp, Ellis (obviously), Andy Kuhn, Andy Diggle, Fresco, Gail Simone... it goes on and on.

The real question is: Has anyone denied a pro's request?!

Oh, I get them all the time, but seriously... as soon as they show up in your list, people will think YOU wanted to be THEIR friend. Then you'll look like just another fanboy. Not me, sir. I say a heartfelt "NO!" to them all, and banish them into nothingness. BANISH THEM, I say! UPPER CASE! A-HAHAHAHAHAAAA!

Just approve everyone, it's one giant orgy-fest of comic love anyway

no one baby! you are it! ;)

I actually have quite a few..it feels good to have some of them request me..LOL..*blushs*

I also have quite a few people who I have absolutly NO idea who they are...and have hesitated to friend for that reason...but I guess you can always edit later..I am not for friending just for the sake of friending...you never know who you might get attached to later on when something bad happens.. I have been down that road..and it is NO FUN!

Is this all that it is; collecting 'friends' like so many LotR cards?

Arent we more than just a collection of avatars? We're men and women! We laugh and cry and draw and write! When we're cut it hurts.

I've hit the ol' DENY button on a few people. 1) because I'm a star now, dammit. And 2) because they had thousands of friends, so they were obviously just sending requests to everyone. Poop on that.

Alas, no HUGE names have asked me to be their friend. Lotsa jokers from here, though. Why just today I had Mr. Ryan Scott Ottney ask to be my friend!

And if any of them are anyone here, I apologise, I didn't recognise the name!

as of right now it's nothing but a watered down myspace for nerds. Untill you can post artwork it's a bit pointless I think. There is some room for networking, but Digital Webbing is 100 times better for that at this point anyway. Hopefully it will keep expanding and become something usefull someday, but right now they seem to be focusing on overhauling the friends list instead of actually adding the features that would really improve the functionality of the site.

Gotta start somewhere. MySpace didn't look as it does now when it first started.

Not to put DW down (as I love this place) but you get a larger range of artists and there isn't any attitude. I would like to see Comicspace keep its "low tech" feel and not offer people the chance to turn it into the eyef*ck that is MySpace.
