You need clearer shadows, midtones, and highlights, and then you need to make sure that they obey some sort of light source. Your highlights are all over the place so there's no discernable lighting scheme. You need to examine the line art and determine what hints the artists that worked on the piece before you left to detail the lighting. Then you need to work with the 3d image in mind as to how that light would fall on the figure as you render. Also consider the setting, as it will change your palette. If this is intended to be a dark dark night time scene, the colors will not be as bright or vivid as your using now, they'll be cooler and more washed out with some heavy accents thrown by the lightning as a secondary light source.
Also, lightning is rarely bright yellow. I've seen blue, purple, red, or just white lightning, but never bright yellow. You can use that for stylistic purposes, but that's just a personal complaint.
