Excellent work!!! Especially for your first time. I'm not sure about the reddish highlights on him, but that might just be a personal taste issue. Can't wait to see more from you!

Yeah, seriously, for your first time this is excellent, and it's just plain pretty good in general. The lighting is a little inconsistant, like his right arm having highlights, his right hand having highlights on the side, the left hand not having highlights. His body would create a shadow across his pants too. It's a little black heavy, but for more of a stylized digital painted look that's okay. The red tones in the mids are a little bit much on their own, but if you finished the piece and put a good amount of it into the background, it'd tie it all in really nice.
