Another CBR post. I thought it was a  post.

But, any way Spawn is dead and "killing" a dead man is redundant. :har:

Spawn can could teleport away from the Flash then either use his chains or magic. Fact, Flash would be toast. ;)

Has Spawn ever faced someone who could move as fast as Flash though? I can see the teleporting away and snatching him with the chains, but that only works if Spawn can think and react as fast as it would take to catch Flash, and I don't think he can.

please. Spawn wouldn't even know what hit him before the Flash had the beat down on his ass. even the Bart Flash would spank him.

How is this even a match? A better match would between Dr. Strange vs. Dr. Fate or Spawn vs Ghost Rider.

I need to email McFarlane and tell him. ;)

Spawn needs to kill a speedster villain. :har:

Hahaha, go for it! Maybe that'd make me start reading Spawn again. I got a little disinterested when he started becomming all-powerful and became ruler of Hell and so on. I was broke and had to cut most of my buys, it went out.

;)

I did. Hopefully, Mcfarlane read what I wrote on his board.

I did a search and found out more of Spawn's powers.

Spawn is unable to die outside of a patch of alley known as "The Deadzone" unless beheaded by a weapon of heaven.

Spawn has control over all the elements and other aspects of the natural world.

Spawn wears a living symbiotic costume, Leetha of the 7th House of K (aka: K7-Leetha). While wearing it the host assumes a dominant role over his suit. His cape, spikes, chains, and skulls are all part of an organism bonded to his central nervous system that will protect Spawn even if he is unconscious.

has the power to regenerate (called "The Gift")
Spawn can regenerate (given a considerable expenditure of energy) and recover from virtually any injury, including massive organ damage, and even partial dismemberment.

Spawn has vast magical powers, the only limit was Spawn's imagination.
firing blasts of necroplasmic energy, teleportation, shapeshifting, etc.

Spawn typically travels in the shadows, even "flying" on occasion. He is often described as notoriously difficult to spot, often only caught out of the corner of one's eye as just a streak of red (his cape). Spawn can also transform into a swarm of bats and transports from place to place. He has done this on several occasions.

Also, Following Issue #161, MoM had given him fruit from the Tree of Life and propelled his power to nigh-omnipotent levels, enabling him to rival God and Satan. The full extent of his newfound power has yet to be seen.

I doubt the Flash could beat nigh-omnipotence. :har:

Even before Spawn was given these new powers, the spawn suit Simmons wears will contine to fight after he is unconscious.

Verdict, Spawn wins Flash gets sent to hell to be tormented. :har: :p

Little Wooden Boy would kick Spawn's ass. Hands down.

Not a member of those boards, but I have to point out the question of what The Flash would do to attack Spawn if he could avoid dying, and then point out Quicksilver in the Ultimates last month.

What happened?

Quicksilver, (Marvel 616) needs his powers back. I'd like to see him be the Flash of Marvel. So, they need to give him back his original powers, plus an upgrade. ;)

I never cared much for Spawn but I hope he tears BartEmo in half.

Now if this was Wally (or even Barry), IŽd be rooting for the other team :p

Even Deathstroke can kick Wally's ass.

In The Ultimates, a soviet created speedster went up against Quicksilver, who then proved how much more skilled and powerful than his invading enemy. He basically sped up to immense speeds and grabbed the guy and used friction to shred the guy to bits and pieces.

The whole unconscious attacking suit thing sounds like a cheap add on to try and woe fans.

If I were the flash I would stir up some kind of dirt storm or something to "flashbang" spawn and while he was dazzed he wouldnt be able to attack or understand whats happening and then pummel spawn with a few million punches in under a second and watch him fall from a distance.

The Flash beats a pre-near-omnipotent Spawn. Perhaps not this Bartman Flash, but Barry Allen would tear Spawn to bits and pieces. And, if the Quicksilver example can be used as a model, if Spawn is completely immolated, there is nothing left to regenerate.

Aside from The Flash's obvious blazing speed, Spawn can't "chain" The Flash because he'd just vibrate to let them pass through him. The Flash can create containing vortexes to counter Spawn's bat-portation. The Flash can also create any number of speed effects, run on water or up the sides of buildings, and even break the sound, light, or time barrier.

Nah... when on his game, The Flash can't be beaten by a hellspawn. He's just too... well... fast.
