TEAM 14 #1
by Alp Altiner, covers by Alp Altiner and Eric Basaldua
A string of brutal murders take place with no witnesses, no motives, and no trace left behind. It sounds like the perfect crime but sometimes the truth is harder to believe. For the past 25 years, a secret government agency known as Team 14 has been investigating the paranormal. Using experimental technology, they’ve been able to identify supernatural beings and in some cases even capture them. Now there are more paranormal crimes than ever but this time they are using the ghosts own powers against them.

TEam14_AlpPromoCover.jpgAlp just sent me this as a promo. I think this is hot enough to be a cover,  maybe a convention/online exclusive. We’ll keep you updated on the final verdict!

In the meantime,  be prepared because in two short weeks, Team 14 will appear in Diamond’s Previews catalog. I’m taking bets it’ll receive a Spotlight On listing, I just got this feeling, actually, this book is that good! We’ll have the whole issue ready for retailers to browse through and hopefully that’ll convince them they need to stock this title. Alp is already planning on turning this into a series if sales are great, so spread the word.

On a related note, Blond has joined the Team 14 creator list and is helping out along with other creators such as Steve Firchow and Sal Regla. See, told you this book will be hot!
