Not if E-Man and private eye Mike Mauser have anything to say about it! Behind the scenes features include Joe Staton’s preliminary designs and pencil art.

The third E-Man comic from Digital Webbing was sent to the printer today. This should put the book in the distributor’s hands for Jan 5th, giving it a in store date of Jan 14th. Yeah, we know it was originally slated for October but we had to pack all kinds of extra stuff in the pages. The story itself runs 25 pages, and the extra stuff includes a 35th Anniversary editorial and a great interview with Joe Staton. Oh yeah, we swapped out the cover at the last minute.

Special thanks to Michael Watkins and John Anderson for delivering the colors to us. Also a big shout-out to Kel Nuttall for stepping in to letter the issue.

This is a very limited run, so if your shop didn’t order it for you, you may have a tough time finding this book. We printed pretty close to the print run with only handfuls to spare being sent off to the creators.

Our next E-Man appearance will most likely be in an issue of Fist of Justice, you are reading Fist of Justice, right? Stay tuned to this blog for updates.

Here’s a peek at the wraparound cover for E-Man’s third issue from Digital Webbing Press. Y’know, these E-Man comics are like mini-movies, a new one every year. Joe, Nick, Randy, Matt and myself pour our heart and soul into these adventures so it’s no wonder we need a little breather between issues.

Look for E-Man: Idol in early summer ‘08. It’s an extra-length tale that’s worth the wait! Stay tuned for more details right here on this blog.

That’s right. You knew it had to happen! We’re E-Man fanatics around here so we convinced Joe to whip up a special Limited Edition cover to circulate around comic conventions this season. E-Man: Dolly is the second issue to be published under the Digital Webbing line. E-Man: Recharged was released last year. The third E-Man one-shot is tentatively titled E-Man: Idol.
