BloodRayne Prime Cuts #4 should hit comic shops in the next couple weeks. But in the meantime, we’re working away on the next full-length Rayne tale which will hit shops this November. Below is the solicitation copy: BloodRayne: Revenge of the Butcheress by Chad Lambert and David Miller Rayne uncovers a plot to awaken an army of Nazi zombies lead by…the Butcheress!! The fan-favorite villainess from the first video game makes her blood-soaked comic book debut. Dark Rayne and Ferril also drop by for what’s sure to be the cat fight of the year! Stay tuned to this blog to see previews and updates!
Prime Cuts is back after a little hiatus. Why the hiatus? Because we no longer solicit books until they’re completely done (minus lettering). This method should get our books out on the months they’re suppose to be released.

Who is the enigmatic Hicharo? Is he friend or foe? And just how does his troubled past with the Brimstone Society tie into the life of the nefarious Kagan?! One thing is for sure: You will not believe the proposition he has in store for Rayne! Plus, more action with the deadly beauty Ayano as she enlists Severin to aid her in trapping an unlikely foe. All this and more as the battle in the land of the rising sun rages on!
If Eduardo’s name sounds familiar, it should. He’s been working on Marvel and IDW projects the past few months. Before he sent this over, he showed us some impressive Power Pack pages.
Look for more of Eduardo’s art here and in some of our comics in the future!
Incidentally, the team that worked on this cover will also be the same team on the Ayano one-shot, a BloodRayne spin-off title. Scott has been turning in pages while Andrew has been inking away. We’re targeting a October/November release. Painter Michael DiPascale (BloodRayne incentive covers) turned in a variant cover which I’ll post up soon. And our buddy Alp Altiner (Team 14) is working on a sweet piece as well.
