Ladies and gentlemen, check out the prototype for the Fist of Justice action figure! FOJ is slated to be available in the Indie Series 3 collection of figures offered by Shocker Toys. We first heard about this prototype mock-up from our pal Kody Chamberlain and finally got a look ourselves. We are officially blown away. What do you think?

FOJ #3 at the Printer!

Yes, folks. After many delays, the 3rd issue will be in your hands in two weeks. Today the book was submitted to the printer and if luck is with us, Diamond will have it in their hands first thing Monday so it can find itself through the distribution system.

The good news, the 4th issue is solicited for a December release and we already have 5 pages completely penciled, inked and colored. We also have another 12 pages in pencils and inked form. If we miss the December ship date, it’ll be because Dibuk is messing with us.

Thanks to all that have shown patience, Mike and I are working to get FOJ out on a more regular basis. Our number one goal for the new year is to get at least 6-8 issues out there, and there’s some good stuff planned. Thanks for supporting!

Can you say FOJ Lad?

A while back in a letters column for Fist of Justice (yes, letter columns still exist, ladies and gentlemen. Currently only the Fist of Justice comics have them since it’s the only title we receive fan mail from), back to what I was saying before I interrupted myself; in one of the letter columns, someone asked “Where is FOJ Lad?” — well, kiss your sleepless nights goodbye, he’s right here (well one version anyways)!

Drawn by Deon Nuckols and it’s very cool.

We also have some cool FOJ news. Looks like we’ll be offering a FCBD for 2009 and we decided to offer the sold out Fist of Justice #1. There will be an extensive recap intro to help new readers (What?! They didn’t buy the DWP issues?), plus if we can tear Mac away from his deadlines, we might even convince him to do a new cover. Stay tuned.

Fist of Justice #4 / Page Sneak Peek

Digital Webbing | Fist of Justice, Sneak Peek No Comments »

Here’s a penciled page from FOJ #4. Eduardo is inking himself this issue and wait until you see the results. It’ll knock you out.

This issue features two different artists… “Why?” I’m glad you asked. A while back when a title over at Image Comics was launching, we were to have these 5 page Fist of Justice stories as back-ups. We immediately discovered it was really difficult to come up with tales with any kind of “meat” to them and still fill in what FOJ was to new readers, so at the last minute, we scrapped the idea.

Well, one of those 5-page stories was completed and will appear here in FOJ #4, but in extended full-length format. You watch, it’ll be seamless even with two different artists. The first chapter is drawn by Eduard Savid (artist on the preview page here), and the second chapter is drawn by Chad Hardin (DWP #29 and #30, the first feature-length FOJ stories that ran in Digital Webbing Presents).

You’re gonna dig it.
